“Collaborating with colleagues from other countries is a win-win situation”
Lecturer Anne-Marie Cotton named Honorary Member of EUPRERA
Two published books, three master’s degrees, lecturer at Artevelde University College for 25 years, and doctoral student at the University of Bordeaux. The list goes on. It’s clear that Anne-Marie Cotton, lecturer Communication Management and Media Planning, has considerable influence in the academic community and communications world.
Last week, Anne-Marie was honoured during the EUPRERA congress in London. There, she was given the organisation’s honorary membership, an impressive achievement she is very pleased with: “I have been a believer of the idea of Europe from the start. Thanks to EUPRERA, I was able to convey this story, by sharing knowledge and insights from research on strategic communication with other European university colleges and universities. Collaborating with colleagues from other countries is a win-win situation. Not only did I find it rewarding on an intellectual level, but also on a human level.”
EUPRERA is short for European Public Relations Education and Research Association. The organisation is a forum for innovative research and education in public relations and corporate communication. Its yearly congress is a meeting place for European experts in these fields. Anne-Marie has been involved in EUPRERA since the start, contributing for years to the professionalization of public relations in Europe.
